Had two neat seniors come in the last part of last week. Guy obviously wants to be a chief. The lady wanted something so this was my first atempt at a Trash the Dress. Poor gal, late Sept. and she did get in the river.

    Couple of questions.

    Are Senior photos a popular thing? In this little town I'm from it certainly isn't (though that could be a good thing if I take that on). The most high school student get are grad photos in their gown and cap. And up until reading this board...never heard of trash the dress. Again...is this something popular out there?

    The photos seem really good.

    Senior portraits have been big for a long while. My brother graduated in '92, and they'd already been a big deal in Texas for some time before.

    Hackbone, sorry for highjacking your thread. So essentially Senior Photos are casual photos of highschool students? The fact that it's not popular here is a good thing. Opportunity for me for sure.

    Hi CHarles!
    Thank you for posting!
    Here's some C&C for you:-)
    1) Best fo the three. My only nit is that his hat has no details watsoever. I understand it's difficutl to do in a HK scenario, but still...
    2) I would almost love it if it were not a few things:
    * horizon crossing her head
    * blown out skies, and
    * sneakers/shoes are ruining the shot
    3) doesn't do anything for me...ne_nau.gif

    Thanks all. Yes, senior casuals are big pretty much in most places. The edgy ones tend to get them in and then mom buys the traditional ones. Alot of these go into a senior album that seems to be the rage.

    Nikolai, I see what you mean. I ran some Lucis on the sky and water and it can do some wierd effects. This was a first try. The weather for her casuals was great, then as she changed the weather went to heck in a handbag. A rain cloud came over and started to rain while she was in the river. I grabbed this quick, there are others that I'll have to work on. Thanks!
