Show Off Badge Not Working In Bio?

So I made a show off badge and while I customized it, it was working fine. I copied the code and pasted it into my bio section where I want it. All I get is the dreaded black box. Can someone help me find out what's breaking the badge from working? I have customized the badge settings, but I also tried it by pasting the default badge code in there and it didn't work either. The code I have in there now is using the "latest photos" rss hack. Here is my code for the badge:
<div style="background: #000000;-moz-border-radius: .6em;-webkit-border-radius: .6em;overflow:hidden;text-align: center;padding-top:13px;width:728px;height:150px;margin:0 auto;">
<object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" width="728" height="150" id="vv12x">
<param name="movie" value="http://www.albumflip.com/swfs/badge/flashbadge.swf?mode=box&useLargeImages=true&BadgeHost=www.albumflip.com&gapImage=http%3A%2F%2Fphotos.smugmug.com%2Fimg%2Fbesocial%2Finvisible_filler.png&displayMode=full&width=728&height=150&gridSpacing=2&gridRows=2&gridColumns=10&background=%23000000&preloaderColor=%23FFFFFF&preloaderGlow=%23FFFFFF&gridDelay=2&slideshowDelay=1&order=random&forceSize=&autostart=true&autorepeat=true&aboutlink=&sharelink=&albums=http%3A%2F%2Fapi.smugmug.com%2Fhack%2Ffeed.mg%3FType%3DnicknameRecent%26Data%3Dalbumflip%26format%3Drss200">
<param name="wmode" value="transparent">

</object>
</div>
Thanks,
Jeff

    Did you place the code between <html> and </html> tags? Any time you place HTML on a page in smug you need to tell smug that it is html by wrapping it in <html> tags.

    You were right. I did this and it now works only in Firefox. Check it out: www.albumflip.com. I can't get it to load in IE8. I'm so close!

    EDIT: Actually it's not working. It works sometimes and other times it does not load. I have yet to see it load in IE8. Why is it flaking out?

    Thanks,
    Jeff

    I think there may be something wrong on the Smugmug end. When I go to Share/Show Off and construct a badge in the Smgumug UI, it wouldn't load there (it just spun forever) and this was all Smugmug's own code (no customization on my part). So, perhaps something is wrong with the badge code.

    Anyone from smugmug got any ideas?

    Andy, thanks for replying and looking into this. Actually when I go to your link, I see the black box and the loading circle appears and then goes away. After that all I see is just a plain black box. The pictures don't load. I just tried this at work with IE8 and Firefox 3.5.3. It seems to be doing exactly the same thing that it's doing on my site. As noted before, I did see the pictures load once, but after that they have never loaded again.

    Let me know what you think,
    Jeff

    Sorry, I am not exactly sure what is going on. I saw Andy was working on this but he is away for a few days. I will take a look too. Hopefully between the 2 of us we can figure it out.

    I have customized my code and put it on my personal site (not smugmug) to test it. It works fine there http://www.jclewis.net/badge/

    I have copied that exact code into the bio on my smugmug site www.albumflip.com and it doesn't load.

    Just fyi to possibly help test the problem.

    Thanks,
    Jeff

    Jeff,

    I just checked and it is working for me. It is taking a while to load. But it is working. The bad part is that the bio area is not big enough for the badge the way it is configured. You may want to make the area larger for it to fit.
