    Andy,

That's a great image! Very nice tones. Its really cool that there is just enough detail in the horse's face. If the horse was totally silhouetted it would look like it didn't have a head!

Agreed, and along the same lines, I like how you can make out the ground just enough to know the horse isn't floating. Also, how the gray spooky mist evaporates into the warm red/orange as you follow the image up.

I agree with everything they said. I was wondering if the technique you used on the bridge shot the other day was applied to this image, or is it right out of camera, or was some other technique used. I learn a lot from your posts so every time you explain I book mark it and read it several times.

    Keep the great stuff comming.

I too would be interested in the artists secret on your shot. What was the ap and ISO use? If the shot was from camera then truely it was an impressive shot. Even if a little curves play was used, you really captured something there.

I read the secrets before looking at this.

I must say, I do like the shot. The way the sunlight and fog are layered
add mystery to the scene. The horse looks as if it's waiting for its rider.
    Very cool.

You sneaky (and highly skilled) bastard! I would NEVER have guessed the horse was put in after the fact.

Thanks for giving away the secret and teaching us something!
