Share button for image link in unlisted galleries exposes gallery URL

It used to be on Smugmug that you could get a link to an image in an unlisted gallery (like for posting on a forum) and that link would NOT expose the gallery URL or even the existence of the unlisted gallery. As of the changes last night, this is no longer true.
The Share a link button for image links in an unlisted gallery should NOT present a URL that has the gallery URL in it. For unlisted galleries, it should continue to use the xxx.smugmug.com/photos/xxxxx_yyyy-L.jpg form of the URL.
