I think this might be the first time I've done this, bumping my own thread. But I'm curious what went wrong with these that left everyone indifferent.

To be honest, I totally missed this post, this is the first time I'm seeing it.

Now that you ask though, I'd have to say that it's the fact that you can't see anyone's face, can't get a grasp on any emotion. Just a fitting really. It's kind of a cool shot as it catches the busy, cluttered frenzy of the fitting. I have to say I keep looking at the clutter and trying to figure out everything in it as opposed to the people.

Liz brings up some valid points, i agree with what she said.
I dont think its a "bad" shot, it's just not enough there to draw me in.
i can say that i kinda like it, but i dont care about it? make sense?

maby you know them, or not, but you was there, and remember it.
i wasnt, so i need something more to be engaged in this shot i guess.

others might have some more comments or different views on this,
i do like your style and what i have seen from your "street-style-pregnancie-shots" it promise good.

maby this is one of those shots that simply isnt strong enough to carry it self?

Ditto. I love the room. If the bride had turned and looked you in the eye it would have made all the difference.

I'm guessing that what you were going for was the cramped and chaotic nature of the workshop. I think you could have conveyed that with less clutter, though, especially since the ceiling is so low that it is visible. A major crop from the bottom might help here, I think. ne_nau.gif
