Found: Alienbees B1600, Vagabond II

I'm looking for a used Bees B1600 and Vagabond II. I can get them new with a student discount of 10% but I'd like to find used ones in good condition since this will be my first monolight/power.

I recently purchased a set of 3 B800's and tried the same thing. With the fairly high resale value and student discount new you're probably better off just getting them new.

Yeah, I'm kinda holding out a little for the Einsteins. I figured if I find something used, be it ABs or WLs, it will take some time anyway. These things resell like hotcakes apparently lol. You probably have the right of it - I'll end up getting new ones if I don't find a real good deal.

just get them w/ your student discount. they dont lose much value and you'll probably pay about the same after the discount.

Thanks, guys! I got the White Lightning Ultra 1800 for $205 used. Going to add a Westcott Apollo 50" and a beauty dish next.

I'm still looking for portable power though.

What is this Student discount that you mention? Does PCB offer discounts for students? If so where can I find out information?
