  Yep, that's Bokeh! Looks as if maybe either the AF or your manual adjustments caught the young man's left eye. The rest of his face seems a bit soft. Do you remember your [a] setting?

  Is there a general formula to keep in mind to get both eyes in focus?
  I agree his face is a bit soft, but could be improved with a little pp.
