Wow

you certainly manage to push the creativity envelope despite the challenges and pressure of a wedding day. from what little i've seen of your work so far, I really dig how your mind works!

4 is killer, this shot has "legs"....everyone will want one! heh.

5 is Sweet light...is that your off camera flash in the BG? Do you meter it or are you using ETTL?

9 is HOT. Love how she had two wedding dresses...sexay!

Thanks everyone. This is my only wedding in recent memory that I haven't eaten dinner at, and only because there just wasn't enough time! Every time I turned around there was a new photo that had to be taken.

Urbanaries- #5 was shot using two lights, on off camera and one on camera. I shot it using the ETTL and ratios on the new Pocket Wizards. I guess I could have metered it and used manual power settings, but that would have taken too long for this application.

And yes, a bunch of BIG minor league players holding and swinging bats nearby does tend to make you move quickly

The one with the bats is a great idea and shot--but leave it to the one guy in the back who went "high school" on this shot with the bat at crotch level--well it just adds some humor.

these are all wonderful though. The expressions you captured are awesome, your use of available surroundings and architecture are wonderfully composed, framing on the foreground blur shot of the groom is also perfectly contrived. This is really nice stuff my friend. thanks so much for sharing!

Matt- #6 was shot using only available light in the bus. I mounted the camera on my tripod (it normally just stays in the car) and dragged away. The light in the top left of frame was getting them pretty good. I thought about putting a tight grid on them to make them pop and maybe a little color separation, but I didn't have the time to see if it would work (probably not).

On #3 I was walking next to the cart. I mounted the camera to the cart using a magic arm and remote triggered away. I pulled about 30 frames as we walked around to make sure something would be sharp and look the way I wanted it to (the background is in constant flux).

Looks like that rig definitely paid off! that shot is great
