What a great weekend! I had a private session with the owner of this 2004 Lamborghini Gallardo. This had the e-gear transmission and was bone-stock except for the stereo/navigation system.

Nice work! Just out of curiosity, did you get to take it for a quick spin? Or at least a ride in it?

Thanks! I did get a lengthy ride in it. The owner has had several exotics and, in his opinion, after owning this Lamborghini he won't go back to Ferrari. It is an impressive ride, and my first and only ride in an exotic.

The nice thing about this car is that it actually has paint chips and some blemishes. He will drive the thing. Its not a museum show piece. Its a car that is enjoyed. :)

First, thanks for the great photos of the Gallardo. It is a truly beautiful automobile and the engine note is second to none. Second, however I find it interesting that the owner loved the car so much and prefers it over Ferrari. I got an opportunity to drive the Gallardo and the F-430 back to back and in my opinion the Ferrari was 20 years ahead of the Gallardo in terms of handling and power delivery. The Gallardo that I drove was late into every corner and made up for it by plowing its way thru to the exit. I can only think that the Gallardo I drove had really low tire pressure in both front tires because the handling was below that of your regular sedan. I hope that is the case, because it is a wonderful car in all other respects!

Thanks again for the photos! thumb.gif
