Searching keywords when logged out

I have a password protected gallery but it is publicly listed.

My keywords do not seem to be appearing when I am logged out.

Why is this and how do I correct it? They are photos from an event and I was hoping to allow people to search for their name - which I have entered as keywords.

How do I make the searching for keywords available to viewers?

Thanks in advance.

Sorry, keywords won't work in a passworded gallery.

Why can't the keyword cloud of a passworded gallery be appended to the
keyword list when a password is entered? This is done when logging in.

    Bump.

Allen, are you saying this is a possible fix for enabling visitors to use keywords after loggin in to a gallery or site?

Not unless Smugmug does something about it. See this request on uservoice and vote.

    thumb.gif Gave it 3 votes!

Just to be clear, is this separating out the metadata as unprotected while still having the image file protected by password? And this would enable visitors to, when having entered the password for a gallery or site, both view pictures as well as using features like keyword galleries, PhotoRank and Geography?

If so, we gotta have this! wings.gif

Only has to do with keywords. PhotoRank would be nice but that's also
tied in with Smugmug's daily popular. Geography is out of the question
    because of restraints by Google.

    Still a huge advantage.

Ah, so thumb-up'd photos have to be able to display publicly on smugmug.com?

Not a huge bummer, just a bummer.

It's probably possible to program to only show on your page.

Ah, maybe you could make the thumbs toggleable between private/public?

I'd love any change that enable any feature when visitor is logged in with password.
