Hi all
I have not been able to participate much here lately, due to work commitments. But did get this shot and put it up in case I do not have time for another for consideration. But would like to know how it looks to you all.
Thank You in advance
Chris

    Wow, this is beautiful. The composition feels a tiny bit off (maybe a little too tight on the top of the head and a little too centered), but the colors and light are just great! Nice capture.

    I agree on the crop, I found it hard to do ne_nau.gif
    "Fill the Frame" with the subject, did not feel right to my usual way of composing subjects. Going for the spirit of the challenge.

    It's a good shot Chris and one of my favorite ducks due to their fabulous design and color. Here are some suggestions to improve (imo)

    1. the dof is very shallow and I would like to see more in focus;

    2. Looks like it was shot in pretty harsh light which makes it tough (lots of contrast with shadows/blacks being clipped)

    3. The saturation is a tad too much for my taste;

    4. With such a tight crop we can see the noise. You might back it off a bit;

    5. If you shoot it again, I would recommend getting lower to the ground with your camera.

    HTH. Good luck :D
