I'm so happy right now, I had to share! I haven't emailed my response yet as I'm still savoring the moment, but Christine Tremoulet said I could third-shoot her next wedding (provided the bride ok's it). It'll be the weekend after Thanksgiving. Oh my gosh, oh my gosh.
Christine recently started hosting a meetup for local photographers on the first thursday of the month. I went last week for this month's meeting and I was just wowed by the company. The underlying message was "We're not competitors; we're colleagues," (I can't even say how much it means to me and the other newbs that they were so willing to help us grow too) so I swallowed my shyness and decided to email her earlier tonight and at least ask about being able to help shoot her next wedding. And here we are. Did I say how much I love and admire this woman yet?
Hopefully I get ok'd. It'll be my first wedding ever!
