case/pouch/whatsit for flash gels

I have 100 flash gels on my kitchen table, I've put tape and velcro on the ends and all that...

Now I'm looking for a solution to pack them, I tried a cd-case but these are just a wee bit too long to fit well.

So the question is, how do you guys pack your gels? :D

    Kid's soft pencil case
    You can often find kid's soft plastic pencil cases or small soft ladies make-up cases in 99 cent stores.

    Hmm, a pencil case with dividers in it would do in a pinch. Thanks for the idea!

    I currently have the gels in a small cardboard box one of the new flashes came in. I'm hoping for a solution a bit more easily organized than that :D

    D you really use that many gels......I find that even in my studio where all but 1 background is made from gelling I only have like 10 gel colors (so a total of 20 12x12 gels)......

    I think I would look for a double slide case.....a case that holds 2 1/4 slides side by side and they normally would hold 5-10 deep (for a total count of 10-20 slides).....

    I would caution about putting gels in any kind of vinyl pouch as the active vinyl resins and vapors could affect the gels over time.

    Thanks for the slide case idea, I'll look at those too.

    I have 3 flashes and 20 colours, with a few gels with potential for doubling (CTOs, CTBs, plus greens, yellows..) . So at least at first until I know what I really need or like to use, I want to keep at least 60-70 of the gels with me. I'd also like a solution that keeps everything in one place anyway.

    They will also probably stick to vinyl without protection. So yeah, trying to avoid vinyl.

    Punch a small hole in them and put em on a keyring?

    If they are the sample size, I use abox from my personal checks, they fit as if it was made for it.

    Thanks for all the ideas everyone, I think karabiner hooks and a soft(ish) pouch might be a winner :D

    Ziploc bag for the laminated ones; the rest of the samples spindle is just on a plastic loop. Works for me!

    Im no help....I carry two sets of 5 or 6 gels for a total of 12 or so....but honestly only use 3 or so favorites for flash balancing.

    The phoxles (my fave) have their own compact case and neck lanyard. The "sticky-filters" also have their own packing solution and fold down to business card case size.
