A little fun with the Mites

I thought I would have a little fun with some Mite hockey players, and put in a "Net Camera" for a period. Lighting in this particular rink is terrbile, and it was not strobed, but it stil got a few fun images that the kids really liked.

Not sure how to get a larger image on here, and I think I have a shot or two of the housing llaying around somewhere. I will dig around.

Did you use this same setup at a Chiefs game last year? Is this the second rink at Eagles? I've been up there watching a friend play and couldn't imagine trying to shoot it.

Yes, this is the same set up that I use for higher level games, and it was at Eagles...Rink 1, not Rink 2.

Here is the same set up in a WHL game

Same set up, different location and caliber of play. Here Spokane Chiefs goalie James Reid (WHL goalie of the week) makes a save against the Brandon Wheatkings.

The look of concern is James worrying that if he hits the housing, he loses his steak dinner that I promised if he kept the housing safe for the game....
