Rust

Last week's Fred Miranda WA was "rust". I had a hard time coming up with anything until yesterday when I got 3 OK shots. But the rules at FM is that you can only submit one. So I had to decide. Which would you have chosen?

In the end I chose #1,, though my wife liked #3 best.
If not now, when?

    I like 3 the best. Your wife is a smart woman. Mine always likes shots that I dont care for as much, but the ones she likes win ribbons, so what do I know.

    I would have chosen #1 because it looks like a coiled snake. But I can see your wifes point on #3.

    #1 is nice and clean, but not as much about the rust. #3 is a nice contrast between the flowers and the rust, and has a little depth to it. With some cropping and sharpening, I'd go for #3 as having more of a story to tell.
