It has been a while since i have posted on Dgrin. Mostly because I have been so busy. No one told me that having a child and working from home would be so hard! I am not even close to working full time again and I am staying up till all hours of the night editing...sigh...

ok on to the photos.

This was my first Hindu Wedding. They did both an Eastern and Western Ceremony and then a rocking party at Mount Vernon. Fantastic time!

    Ooh...so lovely! Really like numbers 2 and 5. Thanks for posting these...I'll be shooting a similar thing in March. Great inspiration!

    2, 5, & 10 are awesome! I love the henna...

    I really don't care for the use of a wide angle on #4 though...

    If you have never shot an Hindu wedding before talk to the couple first about their expectations of the shots during the ceremony. I was ready to stand back, not get in the way, like many Christian weddings but in this case they wanted me right up there with them. Walk between, in front, doesn't matter. The priest even stopped the ceremony so i could get a photo of the couple right after they were married. It was a very eye opening experience.
