Family fun in our Winter Wonderland - Bass Lake, CA (near Yosemite)

Our first snow of the season! Like usual, I brought my D700 along as my family and I went out to enjoy the fresh powder. I'll probably use a few of these in our family x-mas card.

EXIF: D700, 70-200 VR, all-portraits shot wide open, scenics at f/8-11. Natural light only.

    Personally I would bring down the purple/blue vignetting a bit, to about 60/70% or so, but that's a personal taste.

    Love this series, Josh! Your family are indeed beautiful, and it's really nice to see a "real" picture of you - your avatar is very smoldering and all, but the guy in these shots just looks so much more approachable and fun! thumb.gif
