Forgotten shot from Kelby walk 2009

I found this shot while trolling through 2009 photos

    lol3.gif Well, TBH, I'm not wild about it, but it isn't terrible. A couple of things: I think it would have worked better if we saw a silhouette of the whole body, not just the upper half. I like the toning in the tunnel, but I would apply it to the whole frame. Not sure what you were going for by leaving the outside pure B&W. ne_nau.gif

    Thanks for your honestly Richard. I really appreciate it. I applied a LR plugin to it thus the colour. I will go back and rework it in B&W are repost. The lighting in the underpass was pretty low. Not sure how I would have managed getting a full silhouette. Advice?

    I think if you had shot from a lower angle, there would have been back-lighting all around the figure, and hence a full silhouette. Shooting from a standing position, the background in the lower part of the guy was the sidewalk, hence no light.

    As for the color, by all means try straight B&W but I would also see if you could get the same toning you used applied to the bright background as well.
