What do you think? Do any of these work? Suggestions, titles?

I'm going to say #3. The first 2 say skateboard more then shoes. But the third is pretty much like an ad for skater shoes. Which I think hits the theme well.

Would it be better with the focus on the foreground foot? What about lighting? Should I brighten it a bit?

I have a couple of others.
#5 Is the board a distraction here?

Is red better? I thought these were a bit static, but I might be able to do a reshoot later this week, weather permitting.

#3 is the best. The shoes are a little OOF but that's ok. I would work on the contrast a little and maybe do some selective dodge/burn to highlight the shoes.

BTW, I am an ex-skater... used to street skate when I was a kid. I tried to pick it up again a few years back but I found the concrete to be a lot harder on the bones at 30-something than it was back in my late teens and early 20's. I still surf and snowboard so I will stick to those and leave the streets to the kids.

I like 3 the best of the ones here, but I really like the idea of 6 I just think if you do a reshoot, get lower to the ground. But you don't want to make it too much about the skateboard. Just my opinion, for what it's worth!

I still like #3 the most. I think it's the best out of the bunch for the shoes being the dominant subject over the skateboard. I'm no pro, but I would probly clone out the little colored circles on the board. Only because this is a shoe theme and I want as much focus on the shoes. I know skateboards are sposed to be flashy, but I would just give it a try. It might not look right, I could be wrong. Just curious. And the other thing I'd try is lassoing the shoes each and playing with the vibrance, saturation, curves, levels......see if they can pop any more then they do. I usually start over on a pic a few times before it takes the shape I'm looking for, so maybe none of this'll work. But I thought I'd throw that at ya.

I like where you are going with these, in particular 5, 6, and 7--but I honestly don't think you are quite there. I think you need to reshoot.

I like #3 and #4 - more #4 if you can take it again showing more of the right shoe...

Here are the results of the reshoot. I'll have one more chance on Sunday - rain until then and the skaters won't be out. Are any of these better?

I'm thinking #11. I get the feeling that that shoe is going to put the skateboard through a serious session.
