Love the concept and colors of this one. I also like the gradient of light created in the background and the crisp lines of the flower. I'm not too crazy about the shadow on the left and the rim of the glass however. Can't say exactly why or that it would be better without them. They just seem a tad distracting from the subject to me. I'll be interested to see what others think.
That's a great silhouette. The rim of the glass doesn't bother me, but that shadow on the left I think is a bit distracting. Like the black on yellow/orange

I like the edge of the glass showing and the dark edges.
I agree about the edge of the window on the left. It isn't straight and that is definitely distracting. I'd do a bit of cloning to line it up better but I'd definitely keep it to balance the picture. Just be sure you keep the texture and color gradient on the edge so it doesn't look like an added frame!

I like the updated more, but personally would prefer the rose to have a slightly shorter stem and see more of the vase, but with a very similar layout as it it now...
I think I either need to see more or less of the vase. I'd say either cut the stem down and get more of the vase in the shot, or crop the little tidbit that is there...out.
Kind of is a lonely valentines shot... I dunno, I like it, but it's not jumping out at me. I think you've done and can do better work.

- the rose silhouette is very nice in it's simplicity - I wonder how the image would look like
if you flip the rose

I really like your updated version. If you do reshoot, maybe add a touch more of the vase, but I like it as is too
