Portland, Oregon - Mid-February

Hey, I'm heading to Portland in a couple of weeks and will have 1/2 a day free before I fly home. Any suggestions? I'll have a car and am looking for nature/landscapes. Thanks!

    HGWY 26 towards the coast, or up towards Zigzag and Mt Hood would be my suggestions.

    Portland photo ops
    Half day? The falls along the Columbia River. Latourelle Falls is the closest, I think.

    You'd be pressed for time with only a half-day. All these suggestions are about an hour drive from downtown each way, depending on time of day and traffic. I'd stick with the east bank esplanade. Not quite nature scapes but you can make it work if you're around for sunset (see my skyline pic on my website under the personal gallery if you don't believe me -- that was shot in February several years ago)
