I haven't done a lot of macro, so any comments/suggestions on these? Worthy or should I keep at it?

I agree, that is a cool idea. Is it possible to get a can of sardines with the heads still on? Maybe have them hanging out over the edge a little bit? If they still had heads, it might drove home the togetherness more with recognizable faces rather than hunks of meat, but pretty good idea regardless.

Of course I like this concept

Just a "heads" up I spent over a week buying almost every brand of sardines in a can available, to try and find some with heads not removed. Short of ordering very expensive specialty types over the internet I have a feeling they are just not packed that way any longer.

I did this for the "Solitary confinement" image in DSS #27: Singular or Plural. I ended up using a goldfish that I modified to look like a sardine.

Thank you all for your comments and suggestions. I, too, tried to find some full sardines, but like Sean said...no luck. I probably won't have time this week to shoot anything else, but if I do, I'll post them.
