Had a fun and interesting predicament this past weekend before a huge shoot. Left this lens home in my backup bag and needed one for a shoot of a family of 34 and was 3 hours away from my lens... Stopped by the local shop and picked up the new 70-200VR MKII and love it so much I'm parting with this one.

I'm asking $1400 and I'll include shipping via UPS 3 day insured for anyone in the CONUS.

I'm taking payment via Paypal at chris{at}p2foto.com. Please remember to replace {at} with @ ;)

I've sold many things here on Dgrin and will have pictures up tonight when I'm back in town from my weekend photo shoot. if people need them but I do have the box, bag, foot and caps. Lens is in very good condition with slight paint wear on the foot and where the button controls are since I used this lens quite often. Never dropped or banged and the images are sharp and crisp as you'd expect from a lens like this.
-Chris :)

Humm. I've been thinking about the VR1. What is so compelling about the VR2 version in your opinion.

I like the feel of the lens. It's a different size and feels a bit better in my bigger hands. It also seems to vignette a little less than the VR1, but I never had an issue with that as the auto vignette fix does an amazing job. Plus I'm not one to buy something and return it so unless I hated the lens I'd keep her for the long haul.

I've deleted several posts from this thread as they are very one-sided, accusatory, and most importantly, cannot be verified. Please see our guidelines about "keeping disputes private".

Suffice to say, this is between Art and Codiac, and not for us to judge.

thank you, this thread is closed,
