Guidence needed

I have CS2 but not the skills or knowledge needed to get a high res scan of this image of my daughter and her deceased grandmother to its best to print on canvas and give to my daughter for her 29th birthday.

Any examples and lists of steps to get it ready would be appreciated.

    I played with tour image a little and came up with this. The full size is 12X18 at 300ppi.

    Now pick the one you really like and download Genuine fractals trial and up rez that 300 dpi file to the largest you want and print..........might want to thing of a metal print from someone......like Bay or one of the many others that do metal prints............................
