Special Post Production Technics on HDR Panoramas

Hello,
I allow myself to write as I am a panoramic photographer that wish to improve its knowledge on post processing technics, especially on panoramas as you can guess :
Here are the effects that I wish to be able to create :

As you can see there are a lot of enlighted spots that give a special feel on these images. It is HDR with a slight touch of 3D look and an old vintage aesthetic.
Do you have any idea about the employed technics ?
U Point with Nikon Control NX ? Photomatix HDR processing with manual touch on Photoshop ? ..
Open to any suggestions.

copy email address and shoot him an email......explain that you are a student and not wishing to copy his style of shooting or processing but only to learn how to develop your own style.
Without seeing the before shots, it is hard to know. I would guess that there is a whole lot of saturation reduction going on - not to mention selective saturation and dodge/burn type techniques to draw the eye to certain areas.

I have a hunch that these are mostly single image files. The distortion is looking that way.

I did this myself and even invited him to come to this thread and reply.....have had no reply from my personal email or here it looks like.....of course I do not speak French and he may not speak English, even tho his site has an English version....that could be all webmaster magic.
