I figured I would start a thread on this. Spring is here. New England in May and June is a good time to get good shots of vintage & exotic cars.

For the month of May & June, if you are in the New England area, here is what is happening...

This Weekend:
- Vintage Celebration at NHIS (Friday-Sunday)
- Ferrari Club dinner at Louis Boston on Newbury St in Boston. Not for the "public" but 30-40 Ferraris on Newbury St is an event nonetheless.
- Italian Car day at Museum of Transportation in Brookline, Mass (Sunday)

May 23-28:
-New England 1000 Vintage Road Rally through New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, Mass, and parts of Canada

May 28-31:
Lime Rock Grand Prix, Lakeville, Conn.

June 4-6:
-VSCCA/HSR at Watkins Glen, NY
-Greenwich Concours
-SCCA National at Lime Rock
-Corvette day at Museum of Transportation in Brookline, Mass.

June 11-13:
-"Running of the Bulls" exotic car track event in East Haddam, Conn. Lamborghini Club, Maserati Club, Lancia Club, NSX Club, Lotus Club, Ferrari Club, Porsche Club (Saturday only)
-Canadian Formula One Grand Prix, Montreal

    More vintage racing
    In College Station, TX this weekend, at Texas World Speedway, is a Corinthian vintage car club race as well. I plan to go there Saturday. Will post pics when I return. Old race cars make cool photos.

    There's rain in the forecast, unfortunately. It's a shame because the Italian Car Day has had rain for about 3 out of the last 4 years. Maybe that will keep the crowds away though. Nothing is worse than having beautiful cars blocked by dozens of people.

    Ok, here goes. This was a long weekend for me. I think I took about 400 photos total with my Canon Powershot A10. I won't post all 400; I put about half of that on my smugmug site at douging.smugmug.com.
