So does anyone know what this portion of the update notes actually means?

"Optimizes program shift when the ISO setting of the camera is set to AUTO."

I guess what I'm trying to figure out is under what conditions would this "enhancement" be experienced and how does it benefit the user. Canon sure could do a better job of explaining these things!!

    Thanks,
    John

Further down on the page it reads, "When Auto ISO is used and Program Shift is applied, the ISO setting will be more stable and not change as frequently when the Main Dial is rotated."

If you haven't noticed the misbehavior you may not notice the correction in the update.

Thanks Ziggy...that makes more sense now, and since I haven't used

let alone Program Shift I would not have noticed this phenomenon.
