I am doing the 2week trial of smugmug right now. I can't seem to get the homepage to fill my browser window. I've looked through all sorts of tutorials and can't seem to fix it. It always has a large amount of blank space to the left and right of the centered slideshow. If it would display bigger photos that would be great... and all the demos (andy's demo site) are more like what I would like mine to look like.
If it has to stay that size, I'd like to put some smaller likes to the galleries, etc on one side or the other.

The homepage doesn't stretch by default (though we're working on some cool new stuff for user homepages!).
There are customizing options, see the Javascript collection thread in the customizing forum - there's a stretchy option there
