    Wow how lucky were you !!! clap.gif a bear and deer, ohhhhhh geezzzz I'd be bouncing off the walls if that was me .

    .... I'd probably be in no position to take photo's cause I'd be too excited that I even saw a bear with my own two eyes rolleyes1.gif

    The deer is so clear and sharp looks like it's talking to you :D

    Lovely set of images in this series you've shared.......Skippy (Australia)

    Thanks Skippy, I didn't expect to see a bear, there was a few cars pulled over and I stopped and grabbed my camera thinking I was going to see some more deer and then he came climbing out of the tree..

    The deer shot was really cool, it kinda has it's own series;

    The deer portraits are quite nice, and the flaming sunset is striking.

    Cool, good deer shots.

    I should know, I got more Saturday, will post, don't know when, but mine are NOT as good as yours at all. I don't know feet and things, can't judge. I was not as close as you were.

    I did NOT have the extender on, two deer. They were not there long. I think mine are clear, kind of. And that is about the best I can say about them.

    I like your bear, too.

    I really like the "little" sunset shot. (I think it is a "set").

    Hey - I just saw this thread! Strange as I was up half the night last night and one of the things that ran through my head was that I need to make a trip to SMNP and Cades Cove specifically. I've only been once many years ago but it left an impression on me.

    Great shots. You had a good time with the deer. I love the water shot also. You even found yourself a bear (although I thin personally I'd rather stumble upon a beer than a bear mwink.gif ). clap.gifclap.gif
