DSS #49 - Four From Today

I've about run out of shooting time for this round, but I did have time to take these today with my 50mm macro lens. All were taken as close as I could get to the subjects and still focus, then cropped further.

I have a favorite that I will probably enter, but would appreciate any thoughts and suggestions that any of you might have. Also guesses as to what they are. I think at least two of them are almost impossible to recognize. I'd love it if you proved me wrong!!

I don't know. #2 has the most interesting colors and is indeed intriging, but I like #3 for the overall composition (and title).

Thanks all for your input. thumb.gif

It's interesting that most of you like #2 best - it was seeing the subject that made me pick up my camera and put on the macro lens. I wondered what I could do with it.

Jerry, I agree about #3. The "embrace" is so graceful and sweet. I don't know if it would be strong enough for the "wth" theme, though.

I'm going to go crazy and say that I like #1 and #4 best :D

#2 has nice colors, but it doesn't have that much depth and stuff happening in it for me. ne_nau.gif

I vote for one. I like the heart in there. It must be something shiny your looking into and its warping it all.
    Nice find.

Number 2 is good to but I'm loving #1.

Thanks Tatiana, Kinkajou and Gail!! I appreciate your input very much.

Tatiana, I have to say I rather like the title to #4 as well. The funny thing is that the object is quite beautiful when you can see more of it. This is my husband's favorite. Perhaps because he called my attention to the subject.

Kinkajou and Gail, I confess that #1 is my favorite. It actually isn't a reflective object and the heart is an artifact that I didn't even notice until I saw the photo. I can't reproduce it. Just a little magic with the light at the moment I clicked!!

I actually like all four of these very much, but I think I like #1 best because of the little surprise heart, and #3 as a close second.
