Bug? Events allow Easy Sharing even when turned off in main gallery

I just tested an event that is currently live and has been sent to customers. I invited myself to the event through a different email, then logged out of SM. I went to the event, tagged some favorites, then went to view my favorites. In the favorites gallery, the Share button is enabled, even though I have this turned off in the main gallery. Using the share button, users can get direct links to the jpegs themselves.

I don't like this because I want everyone to go through my SM gallery to view photos, so that they can easily buy them if they are so inclined. If a parent shares a photo of their kid with their friends/family with the share button, the recipient has no way of buying the photo.
