Has anyone got experience with the plug in Focal Blade, is it worth buying ?

    Focal blade is a Photoshop plugin for Windows. It's a sharpening tool. The web site is:

    I formerly used it when I ran Windows. On the Mac, I use Photokit Sharpener. There's a lively debate on which of these programs is better.

    Been using it for about 3yrs. Way better than USM as far as halos are concerned. Haven't had any other s/w to test it against. Personally, I'd recommend buying it (it is a bit more expensive than when I bought it - $49.95 can buy you a Canon off-camera flash cable). Why not try the demo and decide for yourself?

    What's also pleasant is that it's one of those packages that a once-off purchase gives you a lifetime of upgrades (at the mo anyway :D).
