Mount McKinley - The High One

I was fortunate to see both mountains, Denali/McKinley and Ranier, during my recent trip. After getting some C&C on my initial shots of Mount McKinley (also called Denali or The High One), I have worked some more on my mountain shots. (There are more to come, including shots of Ranier.) Here are color, sepia, and B&W treatments. All C&C welcomed!

I am still unsure about the prevalence of blue. I adjusted WB at the start of PP, but should I readjust it at the end? I don't normally do so but I'm especially curious about #4. I know some of you liked the blue tones in my earlier post, and mountains can certainly look blue-ish, but is this too much blue?

Thanks for looking and commenting!

Lauren

2. McKinley in Sepia - a nearly full view of the peak

3. McKinley in Color - full view of the peak but some of the top portion is clouded over; I opted for a healthy Curves layer to see if I liked it--and I do

4. McKinley in Color - 2 shot pano, with a variety of curves and gradient layers.

Looks like you had great weather when you were at Danali. Statistically the top of the mountain is only visible about 30 percent of the time.

I like the third image best. It does look a bit over processed, though. There are some dark shadows around the white clouds and the top of the mountain that don't look natural ne_nau.gif
