Richard Petty Driving Experience

I just did this for the 2nd time and it was a freaking blast!! I did it a few years ago in Las Vegas. This time I did it in Dallas at the Texas Motor Speedway for my Fathers day gift. I have done a ride-along both times where they have a passenger seat in a stock car and a pro driver takes you for a 3 lap ride of your life reaching speeds in the 165 mph area. I stepped up this time and did the Kings experience which is 18 laps, then they offered 8 more laps for $199 and my wife jumped on it and surprised me when I got out of the car, saying don't take the suit off, you're going again. It was so damn fun! My top speed of the day was 144mph and I did that riding my instructors butt the whole way as you can see from these pics. I'm driving the #10 car. The rest of the pics were ones that I took while standing around.

My wife took these first 4 pics of me.

My oldest daughter, son in law and grandkids gave me a ride for my birthday back in March. Got the three lap ride around Talladega bumping 175 mph and what a rush. I am definitely ready to that again except like you be the one behind the wheel.

    Oh yeah.

I did the ride-along at the Disney speedway a couple of years ago. To me, we were flying around that track at 155 MPH. For the driver, it was a Sunday drive to church...
