Wondering if anyone had any suggestions for an external flash for a Fuji Finepix S602 zoom camera?

Don't know too much about the camera, but I assume it has a hotshoe. For a generic flash, Yehuda Katz on STF used to swear by the Sunpak 383. I don't have experience of the flash, but his results speak for themselves.

    Alan,

Thanks for the comment. It does have a hotshoe so I would like to check this out. Can you tell me what 'STF' is?

    Thanks

STF == Sony Talk Forum or something similar.

The 383 gets plenty of airplay. Must be well liked.

Also, I moved your thread from Cameras to Accessories for better
    viz.

I use the 383 with my 717 and my 20d works great on both.
But you must shoot manual so I always do some test shots to get the exposure correct then I am good to go.

I am now looking at the Canon 580EX.

    Thanks
