CA hummer

Can anybody tell me if this is a rufous? I'm not familiar with CA hummers.

    Can't help with the ID but at 1/25 you must have used hypnosis :)

    Looks like a female rufous, but they are almost identical looking to the female Allen's.

    Part of their ranges overlap in California so depending on the time of year and location of the shot you might be able to narrow it down (or maybe not).

    I was surprised it sat there..must have still been snoozin..it was about 6:30 in the morning ...lucky for me there was a ledge I could set my d300 with my bigma on it.
