Just a regular wedding...super hot, 97 in the shade..but along the river, so a bit of a breeze is flowing. The ceremony is over, the wedding party makes it way down the aisle...I start heading over to where the receiving line is supposed to be...somethings not right..the groomsmen and groom are taing off their jackets and throwing them to the ground..rentals..what the hell.. I look up towards the house at the dj, who is a friend, he has a huge smile on his face....the song changes to "Splish Splash' and the guys take off at light speed down the dock in front of all 300 hundred guests...

Not sure what the guests found more amusing.. the jump into the river or me running to keep up with the boys....

Makes me a little jealous, to be honest. Not only of you, for encountering such a great photo op, but of the guys, for the cool dip.

Last weekend I shot a wedding (as second shooter) and we all nearly melted. It was 104 degrees with high humidity, causing a heat index of 112. When the job ended at 1am it was still in the upper 80s with even higher humidity. Awful! Thankfully, it was all indoor.
What I said when I saw the Grand Canyon for the first time: "The wide ain't wide enough and the zoom don't zoom enough!"
