Help with HTML

I want to change my footer at mercphoto.smugmug.com. But I don't fully know how to do what I want.

I want to keep my existing text, as you see it there. But off to the left I want to have a small JPG (72 by 49 pixels) which is itself a link to another URL. Click on the JPG, go to a new website (maybe in a new window too?). Its adding this JPG-as-a-link, that is to the left of the text, that I do not know how to do.

Thanks!

    Hi Bill.
    Which footer text? This text?....

    10% off prints until August 26, 2005!

I tried to look at the code, but it isn't available as editable text - at least in my browser. Since I don't know how it's generated, it is difficult to suggest a code tweak.

You had the text correct. Let's see if I can paste it here and it be readable. If not, I'll email you. Thanks!

EDIT: I have placed your code within the CODE message tags to safeguard against bad DGrin page loads... David_S85

The site owners wish to not have HTML code contained within the text of messages. The server might accidently re-format the DGrin pages to appear different. Anyway...

    Go to http://users.aol.com/bikedave1/bill_j.htm
I have placed your code snippet within a new "dummy" page. Please look at it to see if that's what you're looking to do. If it is, then replace the picture and the link with your picture and link names, and import that section back into your page.

The link picture in that example is off to the far left of the page since it is aligned to the left. If that's not where you want it, then you can just delete that directive. Are we getting close?

I would practice using only lower case. The reason being the new stuff like CSS and XHTML are case sensitive.
