heading to Natural Bridges and Canyon X...

I'm thinking about heading down to Natural Bridges National Monument for some awesome night photography at the next new moon (early August) and then over to Canyon X.
Natural Bridges (known best as a 'dark-sky park'): http://utah.com/nationalsites/natural_bridges.htm
Anyone ever hit up these two areas? I've some time in the drive to stop off (Salt Lake City -> Page, AZ -> Natural Bridges -> SLC) in places and a break in the driving will also help me stay sane.
Advice? Campgrounds in Page? thanks!

Stayed here a few times. Can't beat the rate which includes electricity at your campsite, a picnic table, and showers. http://www.pagecampground.com/
More primitive but also a decent place to shoot sunset or sunrise (costs more though) http://www.riverlakes.com/lone_rock,_wahweap.htm
There is also an area West of the dam which is available for overnight parking at no cost. It is a small dirt road on the West side of the highway.
