Take me out to the Ball Game

OK... I was so thrilled with what I came out with, and was so excited to post on here once again (i've been away for a while) and then I look at what is already posted, and well, my pictures have just now become snapshots again....

bah

anyway... here are a few - Shot with sony 717 and Sony 1.7TCon

Comments are always welcome... good and bad.... not a DSLR (Can't afford that yet) and not shot from the field... shot 9 rows up though :)

    Ops, they are pretty good, don't sell them short. You are trying something that's not simple, and without a $2000 lens to boot. I have 2 comments:

    1 - the first 2 need some color work or something. The last 2 are more like what you are looking for.

    2 - Usually a shot of a batter looks better (to me) if the batter fills the frame with a bit of space in front of him, or if you include the entire catcher, or the ump and catcher.

    Other than that I think you should be pretty happy with these. thumb.gif

    Nice, yes they could use some color work. 4 should be cropped to better frame the batter and get rid of the pissed off fat lady. rolleyes1.gif
