A couple of shots from today with an extremely cooperative dragonfly.

He was very talkative.

    Hey Brian,
I sound like a broken record but great shots as always. I am curious on the second shot there are blown patches , were those from the flash or would they have been there anyway?

Thanks 4labs- blown patches on the front are from my flash- think the highlights on the eyes would have been there anyway. I was shooting this from below him but he did insist on looking down to see what I was doing rolleyes1.gif .

No head hanging in shame your pic is very good- you should see my pics from about 4 months ago! Just need lots of practice.
The front of the lens would have been about 5" away from the dragonfly- I was sitting on the ground looking up at it whilst it was looking down at me!
    These Darters seem fairly tame.
