EOS 1D mk II battery life.

I shot my first job last weekend with the new 1D mk II. I am amazed at how long the battery lasts. I used one of my year old batteries. After a ten hour day and 1108 (RAW) images later, the camera was still showing a full charge. I have to confess to a lot of chimping too. It is a new camera so I was keeping a close eye on it and reviewing a lot. So far so good. I really like this camera. Hopefully they won't come out with anything too revolutionary in the next year to make me want a new camera. I suppose a 1Ds mk II will come out soon, maybe at Photokina in the Fall? That might make me upgrade the 1Ds. :dunno :deal :rofl :wxwax
