Like 7 and 8. Seems that you like to place your horizons in the center, not crazy about that. Looks like you are getting some lens distortion also. Not quite digging the silhouetted rocks, or shadowed rocks.

Thanks for the comments :) On 7 and 8, I don't quite know what you mean by centering the horizon. If you mean the darker pictures with the silhouetted rocks, do you mean that the sun is centered?

By lens distortion, do you mean polarization? In your opinion, should.I have toned down the polarization of the sky?

This looks like a really cool place and I get the feeling that you had a great time here!

My $.02 is that if you pared down on the number of shots you kept from this location, you'd have a much stronger set. A lot of these photos have unfavorable lighting or are similar shots of the same thing, which muddles the viewer by the time they reach the bottom. But this is definitely a place worth seeing. I think by honing them down to 4-5 (or even less) you can focus on polishing and perfecting just those, and make a stronger impact too. thumb.gif

    schmoo,

thanks for the advice... i'll place a couple less pictures in the post so that people can give me their thoughts.

something you mentioned - lots had unfavorable lighting... which one did you feel had that? 1, 2, 5 and 6?
