the sweetest children ever

Sometimes you meet kids you fall in love with more than others. I tend to fall in love with my subjects in my digital darkroom where I have all the time in the world, peace quiet and air conditioning... this being AZ.

The little girls are 9 and 7, the little guy is 4, he has CP. You won't see what I saw that day in these few images, but the love and respect the 3 siblings shared was very touching. The girls would be holding him up as he crumpled like a lot of 4 yr olds do when they are DONE, all the while smiling at me, patiently, ready to try anything, play any game to get the youngest to cooperate just a bit longer. And the mom was brilliant, if I can ever afford to hire an assistant, hahaha, she is who I would want!!!
And did I mention how beautiful these kids are??!!! No photo of the 3 of them in this batch, I was just so excited to share...

this is a proof, note how the sister is protecting his head with her hand

one of my favorites, he was done with me! we got him to sit still by giving him a cell phone but he refused to turn around...then this clever look from him!

6 Overly processed I know, I did several versions of this, but I like the look just for fun, the sky was the backdrop and this was at the end of the 2 hour session, such angels!

You took some beautiful shots... I especially like the black and white, and the last one with the two girls. The one of the boy looking over his shoulder reminds me of a line from the television show Bones, "I have a Puckish side that will not be denied!"

Great set- loved the backstory too. Would also love to see some of the shots of the three of them together and see that magical innocence and protection captured!

Thanks, I feel the same way. It brings to mind someone like Audrey Hepburn.
