They wanted shots of kiteboarders in unique settings. I will giving them 6 and they will publish 1 ( likely maybe more ) The others are clear choices for me and this is the last one and I can't decide which one should be the last one.
Looks like the top is a crop of the other -- noticeable sharpness dropoff.
BUT... on my monitor they would be much larger than the printed size. The bottom shot would probably look really small and narrow when shrunk down to fit a magazine page. You ought to shrink them down to the appropriate size (maybe even print them out) to help you decide.
