I liked the way the greens compliment each other. Hope you like it too.

Very nice Thomas, I really like this shot - because of the green tones like you say. The Monochromatic look

    Here is one of mine...
    30005249-L.jpg

    and another
    30005079-L.jpg

The monochromatic images seem calming and soothing to my eye. The red of the ant is in stark contrast to the green but I kind of like it too. And the side lighting is what really makes these attractive to the eye, I think.

    Hi Thomas,
This one made me laugh. At first, I paid attention to the colors and shading. I also noticed the highlights of his left wing against the dark backgound which made it stand out. Most excellentthumb.gif. Then upon closer examination, I saw the keylights (?) in his eyes and it cracked me up. Now when I look at this shot, the dragon has a comedic face. I love itclap.gif.

    Thanks for sharing,

    Hi Path,
Two excellent shots. The green on green is cool, but the green in the bug is very cool and well captured. I'm a fan of contrasty images so it's only natural that I like the ant one too. Don't know which I like better though so I'll just have to take both:D.

    Thanks for sharing,
    Chris

Pathfinder - your pics are equally nice - i must say i am little partial to the head on view presented by Thomas because it brings out the eyes so well!

I usually like what you do Thomas, and this dragonfly is no exception. The green as ruling color works very well for me.
I find it a beautiful photograph of an animal that in real life I would not see in this way. Great job

I'll just add a shot here rather than start a new thread. Working on getting more of a natural light effect.
