Dgrin Sharp Shooters Challenge #64

Welcome to Round #64 of the Dgrin Sharp Shooters Challenges. This challenge is open to any Dgrin member.
It will run from Monday, November 15, 7:00pm PST time (GMT -8) on through Monday, November 29, 7:00pm PST time (GMT -8)

The topic ready for your interpretation: Nine AKA "9"
You could also call this a Polyptych or Nonaptych.

The guidelines in this theme are a bit more complicated than a normal round. The idea behind nine is to shoot 9 images that either tell a story or have some sort of connection to each other. This can be a series of time intervals like the sun rising, the things you experienced in your day, nine of the coolest gargoyles in your city, the nine loneliest looking tires you find in the ditch, the adventures of your kids banana split as it is devoured leaving an empty dish, the demise of flowers over a two week period... You get the idea, the possibilities are endless.

Here is the complicated part. Each photo must be resized or cropped to exactly 424 pixels wide by 317 pixels tall
you can then use this template to construct your final image. The final size is 1280x959 pixels leaving a two pixel black border and separator between each of the images. You can construct your own template if you wish but the 2 pixel black border needs to be strictly followed. If you remember challenge #52 (Digital Alphabet Soup) it was similar and we found a cool free windows software package to create this type of image very easily, see here for more info.

Important - A link to a gallery with EXIF information for each of your nine photos or EXIF links in your caption must be posted. If your entry does not have the proper EXIF info available for each of the nine images it will be disqualified. Some help here

Remember that this is the last round before Mega Challenge #10 so go out and have some fun!

There are no editing restrictions other than what has been outlined above, in this round

Your Judge:
1 round 72 Hour Public Vote.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Your entry is to be submitted directly into a SmugMug gallery. It's pretty simple, just go to the gallery link below, and follow the upload instructions at the top of the page: Remember, the basics stay the same: 1 entry per person, and the photo must be fresh, taken during this contest period. Do not use a minimal save method (such as "save for web"), and your main EXIF will be embedded in your image, no worries!

To avoid disqualification, read, in full, the Dgrin Sharp Shooters Challenge Rules, there have been some very recent modifications
