I agree with kdog--I think this is the best IR shot of all! That sky is fantastic and really adds a lot of interest to the shot. Well done, Craig!

    Howdy Eddy,

Thanks very much, no it's a False Color IR image, the skies and atmosphere

Howdy Don, and Happy New Year,

Thanks very Much, it's not an HDR but with the conditions that day and
pulling down the curves brought this one in the way it looks.

    Hey Craig,

Now I know how Banchuto felt as he watched Michelangelo do his thing. It's great to see a master at work.

    Take care,

Wow .. just beautiful. Looks like the trees are just floating on the water and I could walk out to them stepping on the lily pads.

The sky ... Craig your skies just blow me away. You have certainly perfect IR photography thumb.gif

Beautiful. I wish we could rate individual photos here, not just whole threads, this is an amazing photo. Some people seem to think of IR photos as just a gimmick, but it's not like selective color, or a photoshop filter, it is actually a representation of an aspect of the physical world (lack of scattered IR light in non-cloudy skys, differential LW IR reflection of different plants), and this photo shows that so well. Gorgeous.
