Apple PowerBook G4 - 17", 1.67GHz, 100GB, 2GB SDRAM - $ 525 or Make Offer !
The laptop has little scuffs here and there, light scratches from normal use.
The battery takes a full charge, think it shows about 1 ½ hours of run-time. (Of course this varies).
The AC Adapter is included, with the end plug slightly 'bent' a little, but works flawlessly.
Has Leopard Mac OS-X 10.5.8 (updated) to the latest version.

I know nothing about Macs, but believe if I want to get serious, I need to get a Mac. I have LR3. Will this run LR3? I currently have a PC with Vista, with 4gb Ram. How will this compare? Faster? Thanks!

I have not tried to install Lightroom 2 (the version I have), to see how it works..?

Here's what it 'says' / shows on the box for Adobe LR2:

So, this laptop definitely 'meets the requirements' to install LR2.
I would suggest then, you would have to look to see if LR3 (box) or otherwise, lists whether the laptop meets the requirements?
The laptop, is the G4...
