Hm, it looks like she just found out her fiance is not showing up to the wedding, don't get me wrong I like it a lot. It looks very nice. Just looks like she all of the sudden got bad news possibly. Very nice lighting and composure.:)

Mark, are you talking about #4? The poor bride was going through a small pre-wedding jitter/anxiety...After she was dressed, hair fixed, and saw the groom pull up in the limo, she turned gave me that look, and said "Oh my goodness...I'm getting married today!" It was a five minute bout of extreme nerves...and I guess I captured the first look of reality in her life, that she's getting married...I am mixed feelings on it that image, I like it, but I do remember the nerves that were going through thoses few minutes also. I guess its all part of wedding. The bride said she likes the image.

The kneeling on the ground I'd the one I was describing. That shot is 100 percent perfect if that is the mood of Wha happened, you caught the emotion just right. I thought it was posed Like the back of the dress shot

I read the title fast. I saw what do you think of 5th wedding pic. Sry:). You have talent!

Love them all. Wish in the hanging dress shot that all of the hangers were the same and better quality. I think fancy/decorative hangers should be in a wedding photogs bag if they are going to do this shot.

Intreasting you pointed out the hangers, because I didn't even notice them until you mentioned that. I walked into the room and saw them hanging like that and took a picture. You do have a point though. It would have looked a lot nicer. Thanks!

Does that couple's first initials start with B & C? (B=groom C=bride) I shot a couple's e-photos there at the Parthenon last summer, and they look sooo much like that, even the groom's complexion. But the bride lost a lot of weight if that's her. I don't think it's them, but wow, it's crazy that they look so much like my couple, and you also shot them at the Parthenon. Actually I shot them in a very vintage theme, mostly downtown, then we shot a few modern shots at the parth. They had already booked a wedding photog.

I like 5, 8, 9, and 13 the best.

No its not...I remember seing your pictures on here. She's my cousin...and she's Ukrainian and he is Romanian...I used to live in Franklin so I'm very farmiliar with the Pathenon.. Usually the Russians love to take their pictures at Opryland, however, it was closed so this was the next best thing. I'm happy we went there, and actually like it better then the hotel!

Overall very nice work. The shots are nicely composed, nice angles and exposures. The only I thing I see that takes away from your work are the treatments you have added to most of the photos. Less is better in my opinion. There is too much post processing which takes away from the moment you captured. I personally prefer picking one, maybe two types of B&W treatments, because when they are viewed together they look like they are from different weddings. Create a style, pick a few actions or presets for each wedding and stick to those. I hope this is helpful. Been shooting weddings since 1992 and have seen a lot of styles and trends. Best of luck from a fellow Nashvillian.

Thanks for the imput! I'm still experimenting with style...Trying to see what works for me the best and with my type of photography. With these edits I've used I think three different styles of b/w or sepia tones...I guess it all depends on the lighting and the picture. I'm trying to tone down with the edits though.
